Hi friends! This week we shared this most adorable Valentines Party Ideas for Kids and the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pops we created as a featured treat. Did you know that World Market is not only your place for Entertaining Essentials and Valentine’s Day, but they also have an amazing Food & Drink selection! We hit up this gourmet food section for our Valentines Party Treats!

These sweet Valentines Party Treats were perfect for a posh dessert bar, including our Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pops, a red velvet cake (stay tuned for that recipe!), cupcakes, mousse tarts, chocolate covered pretzels, cookies and more! We’re sharing a few more of those with you today.

CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY POPS: Our strawberry pops were a hit! to see the step by step and how we made these tasty treats, check out our full recipe and tutorial!

VALENTINE CUPCAKES: To kick things off, we created simple cake mix cupcakes with store bought frosting. Treats don’t always have to be completely homemade or complex! I’m a big fan of semi-homemade, especially when it comes to serving up tons of treats at a party! We added some cute chocolate hearts we found at World Market right on top for added cuteness.

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE TARTS: Using World Market’s 12-Cup Heart Baking Pan we created adorable heart-shaped chocolate mousse tarts that are not only adorable but are simply delicious!
For the shell:
- 9 inch prepared pie crust
- 2 packages Dr. Oetker Mousse (milk or dark chocolate)
- 2 cups milk
- Whipped cream
Directions:
Roll room temperature pie shell to about 1/4 inch thick (roll between 2 sheets wax paper). Cut crust into 8 equal triangles. Place each triangle over heart shape in pan and press pie crust to form heart shape, cut away excess crust. Prick bottom with a small knife. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cool completely. For the filling, add 2 cups cold milk to Instant mousse mix. Beat with mixer 3-5 minutes until thick. Spoon into pie shells or using a piping bag and desired tip, pipe mousse into heart shaped pie shells. Chill 1 hour or freeze 15 minutes. Top with whipped cream and serve.

CHOCOLATE DIPPED SUGAR COOKIES: For the party not only did we create sugar cookies for the kids to decorate, but we also made these delicious chocolate dipped cookies!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Melting Wafers (found at World Market)
- Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers (found at World Market)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 Degrees F. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add baking powder and flour one cup at a time, mix well. Divide dough in half, roll each half to 1/8 inch thick. Dip heart shaped cookie cutter in flour. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet, bake for 8-12 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned. Allow to cool completely.
To dip the cookies, melt 1 package of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Melting Wafers. Using tongs dip 1/2 of heart shaped cookie in the melted chocolate. Place on wax paper and refrigerate until set. Then melt 1 package of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Melting Wafers. Using tongs dip the remaining half of the cookie in the white chocolate. Place on wax paper and refrigerate until set.

HOT CHOCOLATE SPOONS: These spoons are not only cute but make one tasty hot chocolate too! Simply melt 1 package of Ghirardelli Milk or Dark chocolate melting wafers (found at World Market). Dip spoon in chocolate and before it sets add your decorations, like candy hearts or sprinkles! Allow chocolate to set.
SO MANY great Valentines Party Treats that came together for one amazing dessert bar!

They all look so beautiful. If I made those I probably wouldn’t let anyone touch them. I’ll just leave them up for show because I can’t stand seeing them go away.
