While we didn’t get to screen this one early, we m While we didn’t get to screen this one early, we made sure to get into the theater today because I knew you’d all be asking…so here are our thoughts! 🕷️ No spoilers here.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a spectacular movie—honestly, one of the strongest superhero films in recent memory. There’s a lot happening, but it never feels overwhelming, balancing action, villains, humor, and genuine emotion with impressive clarity and pacing. Do yourself a favor and avoid the clips and discussions floating around online because there are plenty of spoilers out there; going in blind is absolutely worth the wait. Comic book fans will have so much to appreciate, but there’s more than enough here for casual moviegoers too—this is peak superhero filmmaking, and we highly recommend it!

Parents: This one is Rated PG-13 for sequences of action/violence and some language. It’s very much in line with other Marvel films in terms of intensity.

🕸️ Grab your tickets, avoid the spoilers, and experience this one on the biggest screen you can.

If you’re in Tempe and have a sweet tooth, add Bak If you’re in Tempe and have a sweet tooth, add Bake The Cookie Shoppe to your must-try list! 🍪🍦

We stopped by this past weekend to try their popular scoopable cookie—a warm, gooey cookie served in a bowl, topped with soft serve and your choice of topping.

At $17, it isn’t the cheapest dessert, but it’s HUGE. We shared one between two people, and honestly, it would be easy to split one between four after dinner. Warm, rich, gooey, and absolutely delicious.

If cookies & ice cream are your love language, this place is definitely worth a stop. Have you tried Bake Tempe yet?

A recent coffee stop took us to Milk & Honey Coffe A recent coffee stop took us to Milk & Honey Coffee, and I’m kind of wondering why it took us so long to visit—it’s right around the corner from our house! ☕🤍

This cozy, faith-based neighborhood café in Old Litchfield Park has such a welcoming atmosphere, and the coffee did not disappoint.

We tried the Caramel Sea Salt Latte, Maple Whipped Latte, and Horchata Latte—and honestly, every single one was amazing. If you’re looking for a local coffee shop with great drinks, delicious sweet and savory crêpes, and a cozy place to slow down, this is definitely one to add to your list.

Have you been to Milk & Honey Coffee yet? If so, what’s your go-to order?

Masterful. Epic. Unforgettable. ⚔️ Thanks to our f Masterful. Epic. Unforgettable. ⚔️ Thanks to our friends at @universalpictures and @moviesmorefun, we had the opportunity to attend the press screening of The Odyssey.

Christopher Nolan delivers everything you would expect from a film of this scale—and somehow even more. The Odyssey is masterful, epic, dark, and gritty, taking audiences on Odysseus’ relentless and often unbelievable journey home with breathtaking cinematography, massive practical sets, and the kind of storytelling only Nolan can deliver.

Before seeing the film, I heard plenty of conversations about casting choices, but once the movie begins, none of that matters—the performances, scale, and craftsmanship completely take over. Sure, there are small things you could nitpick and some performances stand out more than others, but they never distract from what is ultimately one of the year’s most impressive cinematic achievements.

Parents, this one is rated R for violence and some language. There are a couple of brief moments of non-sexual nudity (just rear nudity), but nothing overtly sexual. The bigger thing to be aware of is the intense gore and violence, so keep that in mind for teens who may want to see it.

This is absolutely going to land in my top 5 films of the year. If you can, see it in IMAX—it deserves the biggest screen possible. Get your tickets, experience it for yourself, and see what all the hype is about.
