Upgrade your holiday meal with this Easy Homemade Cranberry Sauce!
Hi friends! The holidays are here and that means we’re well into the season of major holiday dinners! I love the tradition of holiday dinners with my family, we typically plan the menu and split it up between each of us just what we’re going to make. Now I usually am tasked with bringing the holiday ham, the Sweet Potato Casserole and my Crock Pot Fried Apples, but sometimes cranberry sauce is added to my list.
How to Make Homemade Cranberry Sauce
And while I have always been a fan of just grabbing the can of jellied cranberry sauce (because who has time to make it from scratch), it turns out that you CAN make it from scratch and pretty easily in fact. All you need is fresh cranberries, sugar and water – and a little bit of time on the stove!

Rinse cranberries, and remove any stems or blemished berries.

Stir in the cranberries. Bring back to a boil, and stir occasionally. Continue boiling about 5 minutes longer, stirring occasionally, until cranberries begin to pop. Pour sauce into a serving bowl or container. Refrigerate about 3 hours or until cooled and set.
