Jenn @TheRebelChick says
Your sweet potato casserole recipe sounds delicious! My mom makes a sweet potato casserole, but with marshmallows and brown sugar on top, which is way too sweet for me. I think I’d love this recipe!
Kimberly Sneed says
That’s always how I had it before Jenn and I wasn’t a big fan. There is something about this crunchy crust at the top with the pecans that just makes this dish amazing!
Sandra Watts says
That looks super good. I am coming to your house for Thanksgiving. I pinned. 🙂
Kimberly Sneed says
Haha you’re welcome, Sandra! Thank you for the pin. 🙂
Lisa Smith says
Yummm! I’m definitely giving this a try!! Thanks for sharing! How many people would you say this serves?
Kimberly Sneed says
Oh yay! I hope you love it as much as we do, Lisa! I think if they just have a normal sized serving, I would say 8. Hope that helps!

This sounds scrumptious. I LOVE sweet potato casserole for the holidays. I would love for you to stop by and share on my weekly recipe linky
Have a great day
Nicole says
This looks so delicious! Do you think if I prepared the filling mixture about 2 days in advance & kept the topping separate, I could bake it the day of?
Kimberly Sneed says
Hi Nicole, I certainly think that would be fine! Good luck!
Landra P says
Help! For some reason your recipe for Sweet Potato Casserole is not giving the amount of flour or melted butter(for the topping). Please let me know I would love to make this for my family for Thanksgiving.
Kimberly Sneed says
Sorry about that Landra, that’s so strange! It’s 1/3 cup flour and 1/3 cup butter, melted. Hope that helps and I hope your family enjoys it! Let us know!
Patty says
I printed this recipe a few years ago to add to my holiday collection and I’ve made it every year since. When I pulled it out this year I noticed a note I had written on the page that said, “This is the perfect recipe.”
Kimberly Sneed says
Ahhh, thank you for sharing that Patty! That’s so great to hear!
