Cowboy Breakfast Skillet
Hi friends! Are you like me and breakfast is your favorite meal of the day? I really could eat pancakes, eggs and bacon at any point of the day…which brings us to one of our family favorites for an easy and hearty breakfast (lunch or dinner): the Cowboy Breakfast Skillet!
Breakfast Skillet Ingredients
There’s nothing like a breakfast combo with sausage, eggs and ham is there? Throw in some potatoes and you have one delicious meal!
- Breakfast sausage links
- Deli ham
- Potatoes
- Cheddar cheese
- Eggs
- Cumin
- Paprika
- Onion powder
- Salt & pepper
- Green onion
- Olive oil
How to Make a Cowboy Breakfast Skillet
Place an oiled skillet over medium low heat. Add sausage and cook until browned. Remove, set aside.
Drizzle skillet with olive oil. Add potatoes and cook until browned. Press potatoes flat. Top with half the cheese.
Layer sausage, ham, then the cheese.
Carefully crack each egg on top, evenly distributed as pictured.
Place skillet under broiler for about 5 minutes or until cooked to desired temperature. 5 minutes was perfect for our over easy eggs.
Note: Oven temperatures can vary, keep a close eye on your eggs! Use a spatula to carefully serve!
