Instant Pot Turkey Recipe

Ingredients

  • Turkey 8 pounds
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 3 ribs celery cut into chunks
  • 3 carrots cut into chunks
  • 1 onion halved
  • 3 garlic cloves halved

Instructions

  1. Add water, celery, carrots, onion and garlic cloves to Instant Pot inner pot.
  2. Place turkey on trivet rack and place on top of vegetables in the Instant Pot.
  3. Close the instant pot lid and turn pressure valve to seal. Cook on manual high pressure for 6 minutes PER POUND, so for an 8 pound turkey, that would be 48 minutes.
  4. Allow for a natural pressure for 10 minutes and then let out the remaining pressure.
  5. If desired, transfer to broiler pan and broil for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on top.
