Easy Hot Cocoa Bar

Set up an Easy Hot Cocoa Bar this holiday season for effortless entertaining!

Hi friends! The holidays are right around the corner and if you’re like me during this season, you’re not only thinking about how to entertain this holiday season, but how to make entertaining EASY this holiday season. I love to have friends and family over but I don’t love to stress about all of the details, so one of my favorite tips to being a gracious and frazzled-free hostess is to make as much as you can SELF SERVE. And that’s where this adorable and Easy Hot Cocoa Bar comes into play that we put together with the help of BHG products at Walmart!

First off, to make the hot cocoa bar self-serve, grab your Keurig machine and some hot cocoa k-cups and you’re well on your way! Just keep that reservoir filled with water, and your guests can help themselves to a cup of hot chocolate any time they’d like. Our Better Homes and Gardens Cookie Jar is the perfect choice to hold a ton of tasty hot chocolate k-cups and how cute are these Snowman Mugs?!

Also key to your hot cocoa bar are an ample supply of mugs; we loved hanging our Better Homes and Gardens Mugs on a little vintage drying rack so guests can help themselves!

Then it’s time to add in some decor and details to make the hot cocoa bar YOURS! We started with some yummy goodies – flavored Torani syrups to give your hot cocoa a little zip and marshmallows and chocolate kisses served up in Better Homes and Gardens bowls with adorable holiday measuring cups we used for scoops.

A Better Homes and Gardens Large Canister makes a perfect holder for colorful paper straws, while the Small Canister looks adorable filled with tasty candy canes! This set, including the cookie jar, are some of my favorite pieces from BHG. They’re so versatile and look great in your everyday kitchen as well!

Last but not least, let’s talk about these Christmas trees! They’re probably my most favorite part of the whole setup. The small patio-sized trees we’ve owned for a few years but this year they got a major upgrade, a new fabulous base with these Better Homes and Gardens Galvanized Round Bins!
