Hey yall! I hope everyone had a great New Year! We had a few people over at our house and had a blast just chatting. And eating too. We do a lot of snacking around our house and when we have people come over, we snack even more! I whipped up a pan full of loaded totchos, this delicious Creamy Parmesan Basil Dip and a fun moonshine bellini. It was a potluck type of party so everyone brought things over as well.
We ended up with a ton of good food! Everyone seemed to keep coming back to the Parmesan Basil Dip though. Not that I blame them, its super creamy and perfect for chip dipping. It was the first thing that we ran out of that night. My basil plant is still growing out of control so I am still looking for uses for fresh basil. [Remember my Margherita Chicken Bites with fresh basil?]
If I had told my friends how easy it was to make, I’m not sure they would have believed me either! I made it earlier in the week because we had chips in the house but no dip. My husband thought that was a small travesty, so I whipped up this dip in under 5 minutes. He thought it was amazing. I figured with all the cleaning I had to do before our friends came over, the easier the dip the better!
And since it was such a winner with the hubby and all our friends, I knew I had to share it! It’s a great dip to share. New Years is over but it would be perfect for football parties, or school events, or just because you have a few bags of chips and no dip on hand! I hope you enjoy it as much as we all did. And if you’re looking for another dip recipe be sure to try our Margherita Pizza Dip!
