One of our favorite things to do is eat and drink around the World Showcase in EPCOT. Seriously, EPCOT is one of my favorite parks on Earth and is always top on my list when visiting Walt Disney World. But today we’re doing something a little different. Since we can’t always visit the parks, we’ve been looking for ways to enjoy our park favorites from the comfort and convenience of home. So let’s make a Copycat EPCOT Pimm’s Cup Cocktail!

Drinking Around the World in EPCOT World Showcase

Have you heard of “Drinking Around the World” at EPCOT? If you’re not familiar, EPCOT is one of the select Disney Parks that serves alcoholic beverages. Now while all of our recommendations include alcohol, you could always do the same type of challenge with non-alcoholic drinks! The World Showcase includes 11 country pavilions, including: Canada, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, America, Italy, Germany, China, Norway and Mexico. Each pavilion has its own area, shops and restaurants, from sit-down restaurants to quick-serve and don’t forget festival booths! Drinking around the world implies that you grab delicious drinks from each country and work your way around the World Showcase Lagoon. I always suggest eating around the world as well, it’s a great way to balance out the drinks.

Rose & Crown Pub in the UK Pavilion

One of the 11 country pavilions, the United Kingdom Pavilion is home to English gardens, shops that sell tea and biscuits, and set of iconic Gilbert-Scott telephone boxes. To eat, you can choose from the Rose & Crown Pub, Rose & Crown Dining Room and Yorkshire County Fish Shop. When visiting EPCOT on a warm day, I always love stopping by the Rose & Crown Pub for a Pimm’s Cup Cocktail! Sometimes referred to as Pimm’s Punch, this drink is similar to a ginger beer, but a bit milder, with a hint of citrus, and you know what? It’s the perfect drink for your journey around the World Showcase.

Heading to the store?  Here are the things you’ll want to grab to make this cocktail!

• • Lords Strawberry Liqueur
  • Pimm’s No. 1 Cup
  • Hendricks Gin
  • Lemonade
  • Grenadine
  • Orange slices
  • Strawberries
  • Lime slices
  • Mint leaves

How to Make A pimm’s cup cocktail

1. In a large bar shaker, add the strawberry liqueur, Pimm’s No. 1 liqueur, Hendricks gin, and lemonade.
2. Shake this all together until it’s all combined.
3. Grab a glass with ice, and pour your mixture over the ice.
4. Add a splash of grenadine.
5. Add orange slices, strawberry slices, lime slices, and mint leaves for a garnish.
6. Last but not least, enjoy your drink!

Variations and Substitutions for a Pimm’s Cup Cocktail

There are a number of ways that you can enjoy a Pimm’s Cup Cocktail! Some enjoy swapping out the lemonade for pineapple juice or grapefruit juice, ginger ale, Sprite or another type of lemon-lime soda. You can also leave out the gin or swap for your favorite brand, like Plymouth Gin. You can also use Luxardo maraschino liqueur in place of the grenadine. So many options! Also, add some lime juice for a little tartness to the delicious drink.
