Colorful Bedroom Refresh with BHG

Refresh your space with COLOR for spring!

Hi friends! Spring is just around the corner and while it still may be cold where you are, it’s warming up here in sunny Phoenix, AZ and I’m ready to break out in some spring color! I teamed up with my friends at Better Homes and Gardens to incorporate COLOR into our home with BHG products at Walmart!

It seems like it’s always the last room in the house to get proper attention, but until now our bedroom has been fairly neutral and not very decorated. We did recently pick up the Better Homes and Gardens Pintuck 3-Piece Bedding Comforter Mini Set from Walmart and we LOVE it! It’s a designer look at amazing Walmart prices. But with our gray walls and neutral bedding, the room was just begging for a little spring refresh! Enter MORE BHG products at Walmart!

One of my favorite BHG products at Walmart are their amazing and colorful throw pillows! We did a Summer Family Room Refresh last year and brought in a ton of color with BHG throw pillows. We layered in Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Collection Jeweled Damask Shams, Better Homes and Gardens Chenille Swirls Decorative Pillows in Turquoise and a Better Homes and Gardens Paisley Oblong Pillow to top it off.

Then to add in more colorful accents, we grouped decorative accents on our trusty Better Homes and Gardens Laminated Bamboo Serving Tray! This tray has so many uses – from the dining room to the laundry room to the bedroom! We included colorful hydrangeas in a Better Homes and Gardens Rope Handle Fluted Candle Holder, a BHG Pineapple Candle we snagged last year and a Better Homes and Gardens Cranberry Mandarin Splash Candle. Now THAT one smells amazing, folks!

Lastly, we brought in the most adorable Better Homes and Gardens Lamp Bases in Teal! We’ve had our same chrome lamp bases for years. It’s just one of those things that we’ve overlooked. They were decent, so they stayed. But I love the little pop of color we get from the new teal lamp bases, and the shape is just great!

I love how colorful and refreshed our room feels! And it’s just the beginning.

We have so MANY more accents to add, but this is just the best starting place, don’t you think? A beautiful, and COLORful palette to complete the rest of what should be our MOST cozy and comfortable room in the house. How will YOU add color to your home this spring?

Oh your photo’s are so vivid, pretty and inspiring to get to decorating for a new feel and enjoyed look. I love that bedding design you chose from BHG , so cheery and refreshing. Your bedroom looks beautiful Kimberly. Those pillows are gorgeous and I think they are just what I’ve been looking for to brighten of my blue spread. I always keep a small wood tray with sides in my bedroom too so that glasses don’t fall over when I’m laying across the bed flipping through magazine pages or stalking pinterest & blogs.
