A Labor of Love
My favorite part of writing my new book was creating recipes with my Mom. If you’ve followed along here, you know that I lost my Mother in December. When I first told her about the book, she was so excited and wanted to help in any way she could. So on the weekends I’d pack up my Instant Pots and head over to her house and we would cook the day away. She was the best sous chef I could have ever asked for.
When I was going through some of her things recently I found these little sheets that had been torn out of her notebook. We’d always start out our weekends going to a local spot for breakfast, enjoying a great meal together and planning out our grocery list for the recipes we were tackling that day. These little pieces of paper, in her handwriting, I will cherish forever.
There really is so much love that went into this cookbook. I know you’re going to love it too.
