Strawberry Champagne Cocktail

This light and refreshing champagne cocktail has a slight hint of strawberries, making it perfect for Spring or Summer!

  • 1 750 ml bottle of brut champagne chilled
  • 5-6 fresh strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons water
  • 4 fluted champagne glasses


  1. Combine the strawberries, sugar and water in a medium saucepan
  2. Cook on medium heat for several minutes until strawberries have broken down, forming what looks like the consistency of a puree {you will need to 'mash' them a bit to help break them up}
  3. Remove from heat and cool
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of strawberry puree in the bottom of each fluted glass
  5. Fill each glass with champagne
  6. Enjoy

Recipe Notes

If you do not care for the bits of strawberry in your glass, you can always strain the mixture to remove them.
