Hi friends! Our final fabulous Blogiversary Giveaway is to DecoArt – the paint supply store for the crafting world! But before we get to the giveaway, I wanted to share with you a little project I put together this weekend to once again show you how awesome their products are. I’ve shared DecoArt before, with our Baker’s Delight Gift Basket and our Snow-Capped Christmas Ornament! But today, I’m sharing a quick and cute Valentine’s Day project just in time for you to update your decor!
What you’ll need:
- Basic round vases – mine are from the dollar store
- DecoArt Gloss Enamels
- Paintbrush
- Painter’s Tape
- Rubbing alcohol
And the steps:
- Clean the glass vases with rubbing alcohol and ensure that they are dry.
- Tape off sections of the vase to create different sized lines (or you could do similar sized – I wanted mine to vary).
- Paint one coat of the DecoArt Gloss Enamels paint onto the vases. Let dry 1 hour.
- Paint 1-2 additional coats until the coverage you want is achieved.
- Let dry then peel the painter’s tape off, and you’re done!
And here’s how they turned out…
So cute, right? My husband even complimented me on the project – isn’t that the ultimate litmus test? I do suggest you go pick up some DecoArt Gloss Enamels for your upcoming projects. The paint is so much fun to work with and yields such amazing results!
