Hello, it’s Laura here. Before I accidentally became an artist and started designing products for companies like Expressionery…I was an elementary school teacher. I love this time of year, this time when we recognize the gift that teachers play in the lives of children and give teacher appreciation gifts. I taught for years and some of my most cherished moments are those when the kiddos would hand me wrapped gifts of things that they made themselves. Their eyes beamed with pride and their smiles could move mountains. Here is a super fun and simple way for kids to create a gift to give a teacher that has a lasting impression and a piece that lives on. You can stamp out some Teacher Appreciation Gifts with Expressionery and then give the stamp too!
To create these note cards, I let my kiddos stamp the images on white card stock then cut it out using our paper cutter. They mounted them on to colored card stock and then on to folded notes. To create the alphabet border they used Scotch brand masking tape. We LOVE this stuff. It is like super washi tape!
I bet Mrs. Close is going to LOVE this gift like total crazy! There is a special promotion running on Expressionery through May 25th and you can save 30% sitewide with the promo code TEACHERAPP … which rocks!
The stamps are so fabulous! There are so many ways to use them and the stationery to create teacher gifts. Check out these awesome ideas!
You can enter to win a custom stamp AND a $250 Visa gift card too!
Happy Celebrating Teachers,
Laura
