Hi friends! The “big game” is right around the corner now and I don’t know about you but we’re counting down the weeks with some tasty playoff games and even tastier snacks! Now I love to have family and friends over to enjoy these sporting events but all the work that goes into setting up and feeding guests can become overwhelming. Over the years I feel like I continue to hone my hostess skills and this year I may have hit the jackpot with this EASY Self-Serve Game Day Snack Bar!

Did you know that Cost Plus World Market has all the snacks you need for Game Day? Ghirardelli Chocolate, Krave Jerky, Columbus Meats and Torani Syrups are just a few of the essentials you can find! Not only did we pick up tasty snacks and the makings of an Italian Soda Bar, but World Market also has entertaining essentials that can hold all these tasty treats.

For our Self-Serve Game Day Snack Bar I picked up these gorgeous 2-Gallon Heritage Hill Storage Jars and let me tell you, I’m smitten. I filled them up with World Market Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, Utz Pretzels and World Market Crinkle Cut Potato Chips, labeled them with Mini Metal Chalkboard Signs and tucked a Stainless Steel Scoop in each jar for serving.

In addition to the large jars of sweet and salty snacks, we served up delicious Krave Jerky in paper and tissue cups….

And delicious Vanilla Bean Cupcakes topped with Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares! Both of these treats sat on top of the cutest Galvanized Cake Stands. Everything galvanized is so trendy right now and these stands were too cute not to pick up!

Then you can’t forget delicious meat and crackers! This is one of my favorite daytime snacks as well and Columbus products, which you can find a World Market, are where it’s at! We served the Columbus Pepper Salame with Roasted Garlic Cheese on Carr’s Crackers. YUM! And World Market’s cheese knives and cutting boards are the perfect serving pieces.

I put out small paper bags that are perfect to hold a myriad of game day snacks from the bar – and just a chalk marker and a few lines and you’ve got yourself adorable football game bags! Then let your guests at it! They can serve themselves, fill up their snack bags and come back for more – throughout the playoffs or the big game and all those commercials!
