DIY Etch-A-Sketch Chalkboard

Home

Thanks to all who have visited and commented on AJ’s (my two-year-old) new Toy Story themed bedroom. If you haven’t seen it yet, go take a look HERE! As I mentioned in that post, I made a few things for his room that I would share a tutorial for. Up first: the Etch-A-Sketch chalkboard! When I was doing research for…

{Thrifty Thursday} Pyrex Gems

Thrifty

This past week, I was only able to make a brief trip into a local Arizona Goodwill, but that 20 minutes was enough for me to unearth a couple of Pyrex gems. First, I found this lovely Empire Scroll – Vines oval dish. It is in great shape, and I can wait to use it. It’s a perfect size for…

Using some red gloss spray…

This is the way. 💚 Thanks to our friends at @disne This is the way. 💚 Thanks to our friends at @disneystudios, @starwars, and @alliedglobalmarketing for the opportunity to attend an early screening of #MandalorianAndGrogu and we had such a fun time with this one!

Fans of The Mandalorian are going to love seeing Mando back in action. It delivers plenty of the adventure, heart, and grit we’ve come to expect, while Grogu once again steals scenes with his adorable charm and perfectly timed humor. Their dynamic is still just as strong and honestly one of the best parts of the story.

The world building was also a standout. From new planets to creatures, aliens, and monsters we’ve never seen before, it really expands the Star Wars universe in a way that feels fresh while still staying true to the tone of the Disney+ series. If you loved the action and feel of The Mandalorian, this is very much on par with what you’d expect.

Parents, this one is rated PG-13 for sci-fi violence and action.

All in all, we’d say go see it. Whether you’re a longtime Star Wars fan or just love Mando and Grogu, this one is worth the trip to the theater. 🌌✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, bonus moms, an Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, bonus moms, and mother figures out there today! 💐

I’m so thankful for the boys who made me a mom and for this beautiful, messy, love-filled life we share. Even while facing obstacles, I’m deeply grateful for all we have—especially the family that keeps me laughing through it all.

Two things can be true at once: I can feel incredibly thankful for where I am and all I have, while still grieving what I’ve lost. Today, I’m especially wishing I could celebrate with my mom and missing her dearly. 🤍
Secret? Never heard of her. 😌 Secret? Never heard of her. 😌
A baa-rilliant whodunit for the whole family. 🐏🧐 T A baa-rilliant whodunit for the whole family. 🐏🧐 Thanks to our friends at @amazonmgmstudios and @moviesmorefun we had the opportunity to screen @thesheepdetectives early and we really enjoyed it!

The Sheep Detectives is seriously the kind of fun family film we haven’t gotten in a while. The sheep are endlessly entertaining, the cast is perfection across the board, and the whole movie gives off playful Clue-style whodunit vibes that keep everyone guessing. It’s charming, funny, and the perfect pick for a family movie night.

Parents, this one is Rated PG for thematic material, some violent content and brief language.

Round up the whole family and catch the mystery on the big screen—The Sheep Detectives is in theaters May 8th! 🐑🔎🍿
