Team Manuscript or Team Letter? 👀📖 Thank you to ou Team Manuscript or Team Letter? 👀📖 Thank you to our friends at @amazonmgmstudios and @moviesmorefun for the chance to screen @verityfilm early and for allowing me to host such a special movie night! 🖤

This one was extra special because VERITY is based on the bestselling Colleen Hoover book, and as someone who read it a few years ago, I was HOOKED. I loved it so much I bought the deluxe edition, so needless to say, I had thoughts going into this adaptation.

First, the casting. I already knew Anne Hathaway would be the perfect Verity, and Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson felt spot-on, too. And I was RIGHT. Anne was so multifaceted in this role, and dare I say this might be her best performance of the year? And there is A LOT to choose from there. 👏

As for the adaptation, I was really happy with how closely the film stayed to the book. I think book purists will be pleased! Everything just worked. The screenplay was fantastic, the direction was well done, and even knowing the story, I was completely pulled in.

But I was REALLY curious what people who hadn’t read the book would think, so I asked some of my guests!

@josie_bagley said, “Loved it! Kept me guessing and I really liked the dynamic between the husband and Lowen.”

@craftedsparrow said, “I liked that it kept you on your toes through the movie and it made you wonder what YOUR thoughts were and who killed who and who was telling the right story.”

RIGHT?! The best thrillers keep you guessing, questioning everyone, and debating what you believe long after the credits roll.

So I GUESS you’ll just have to head to the movies, see this one for yourself, and then tell me: Team Manuscript or Team Letter?

🎬 VERITY is IN THEATERS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2026!

Love these boys with my whole heart. Happy #Nati Love these boys with my whole heart.

Happy #NationalSonsDay!
What a tremendous responsibility it is to raise so What a tremendous responsibility it is to raise sons in this day and age.

If the Cornell7 story has taught us anything, it’s that it’s more important than ever to raise sons who are empathetic and kind. Who respect others. Who understand that another person’s dignity, safety and humanity matter just as much as their own wants and needs.

As a mother, the greatest compliment anyone can give me about my sons is that they are kind. More than their accomplishments, their talents or anything else, I want them to grow into good men who care about the people around them.

We have a responsibility to teach our boys to do better. To expect better from one another. To be better.

On National Sons Day, I’m incredibly proud of the three boys I get to raise, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

Beautiful, emotional, and bring the tissues. 🐾 Tha Beautiful, emotional, and bring the tissues. 🐾 Thanks to our friends at @paramountpics and @alliedglobalmarketing for an early screening of @heartofthebeast movie! After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces veteran James Belmont and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness, where they’re forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements.

This movie is beautiful and emotional, and dog lovers are absolutely going to fall in love with Odin. 🐕 Brad Pitt is phenomenal, almost single-handedly carrying the entire film. He embodied Belmont so completely that, honestly, I forgot I was watching Brad Pitt. The CGI is noticeable, but if you’re focused on the story rather than the special effects, you’ll be fine. And seriously—bring your tissues. You’re going to need them for this one. 🥹

And for all my fellow dog lovers: the dog does NOT die. 🐾 That’s not a spoiler—the director actually lets audiences know going in because they understand that can be a trigger for some viewers.

Parents: Heart of the Beast is Rated PG-13 for violence, peril, bloody/injury images, and some language. I’d recommend leaving the little ones at home for this one—the themes are definitely geared toward teens and older.

🐾 Heart of the Beast is out now—another great movie to see this weekend! 🎬🍿 #heartofthebeast #movierecommendation
Friendship, adventure, and a whole lot of chaos! 🌴 Friendship, adventure, and a whole lot of chaos! 🌴 Thanks to our friends at @dreamworks and @moviesmorefun for the early screener of @forgottenislandmovie and the fun goodies—peep that awesome friendship bracelet! 💕📿

Forgotten Island is wild, fun, and packed with adventure, with an amazing soundtrack, bright and zany animation, and plenty of humor to keep the adults entertained, too. We loved seeing different cultures woven into the story, especially Philippine mythology, while the heart of the movie centers on one of its biggest themes: the importance of friendship. The story follows two best friends stranded on the mystical world of Nakali, where their only way home might come at the cost of their shared lifetime of memories—and we absolutely loved it. Adrian brought his bestie along, and they were both SO amped about this one; it’s definitely a movie we can see watching over and over!

Parents, this one is Rated PG for animated sequences of scary action, language, rude humor, thematic elements, some violence, and brief tobacco imagery.

🍿 In theaters now—grab the family, grab your besties, and go! 🌴🎬
