Now that the school year is winding down, it is just about that time to clean out desks, turn in library books and say goodbye to teachers and friends for the Summer! Since our teachers work so hard and honestly, put up with my crazy boys, I am always looking for a creative way to treat them! And these sweet little gifts are definitely a treat!!

You won’t believe how easy these Ice Cream Scoops Teacher Gifts are! Honestly, I put them together in about 10 minutes! Make a bunch for teacher, volunteers and classroom helpers!

Supplies

Ice Cream Scoops – I picked these up for .88 each at my local big box store!
Twine
Gift cards for a local ice cream or frozen yogurt store
Free printable tags – see below
Hole punch and scissors/paper trimmer (not pictured)

First, you will want to print the free printable tags. You can click here to print the tags. Four tags should print on one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of white card stock. Cut them apart with scissors or a paper cutter.

Then, use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top of each gift card. **Be sure to avoid punching a hole through the black swipe bar or the card may be unusable!**

Next, punch a hole in each tag. Again, I made sure to punch the hole on the same side that I punched the gift card on (in my case, the upper left hand corner) so the two would hang nicely together.

Finally, tie the gift card and printable tag around the handle of the ice cream scoop.

That’s it! For a sweet personal touch, you can have your student write a note on the back of the tag. Is there anything cuter than crooked handwriting in no. 2 pencil?! We hope you love our Ice Cream Scoop Teacher Gift idea and can put it to good use this year!
