Thank you to Pennington Vertical Gardens for sponsoring today’s post and giveaway; all opinions are my own.
Hi friends! Today we’re talking about gardening and a new amazing product – the Pennington Vertical Gardening System! The Pennington Vertical Gardening System allows any gardener – novice or experienced – living in the sprawling suburbs or crowded city to turn even the most lackluster of spaces in to a colorful, blooming garden. How amazing does that sound! I know for us, we have a lot of back yard “space” but not a lot of space that is free from the grueling Arizona sun and heat. This really makes finding an ideal spot for gardening difficult, unless you only want full sun plants. So in order to create a small area that is conducive to other things that we want to grow – like an herb garden – we need something revolutionary! Enter the Pennington Vertical Gardening System!
Pennington Vertical Gardening Systems are completely customizable with each component sold separately to adapt to your ever-evolving style – it’s truly a System that grows with you! Whether you chose a color-coded theme or an eclectic collage that represents your style, your imagination is the only thing between you and creating the garden oasis of your dreams. Your Vertical Gardening System is exactly that – yours!
You can use Pennington Vertical Gardening Systems for a number of different things: gardens of course, kitchen organization, stylish craft storage – the sky’s the limit! Really anything that you need to grow, organize or store in a small area! I mentioned before but I have been dying for an herb garden at home. And these vertical gardening systems are just what I need to keep my herbs in a cool, dry and semi-sun area!
So what am I going to do make all these herbs from my herb garden? Well Fresh Homemade Salsa of course! Salsa is one of my favorite things to make homemade and have on hand for chips and our frequent Mexican food dishes (see our easy enchilada casserole, yum).
Fresh Homemade Salsa
Ingredients
- 3-4 whole tomatoes
- 1 jalapeno
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 clove smashed garlic
- Handful of cilantro
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- Juice from one lime
Instructions
-
Place all your items in a blender or food processor and process until desired consistency is reached.
-
You can adjust ingredients such as the jalepeno and cilantro to taste.
Doesn’t that sound yummy? It is! I can’t wait to get our herbs going and to have fresh jalepenos and cilantro on hand! I’m so happy to have discovered the Pennington Vertical Gardening System and I can’t wait to give it a try! I’ll be sharing our personal experience with it soon, so stay tuned! In the meantime, be sure to get updates on Pennington Vertical Gardening products, promotions and offers by visiting their website: www.penningtongarden.com! ALSO! The Pennington Vertical Gardening System is available at Home Depot, and to encourage you to go take a look for yourself, the good folks at Pennington are giving one of you a $50 Home Depot gift card! How cool is that? Just enter via the Rafflecopter below. Good luck!
