Homemade Gingerbread Spice – all the flavors of the holidays in one delicious spice blend!
Hi friends! Are you knee-deep in holiday baking like we are? I know we’ve been whipping up Candy Cane Cheesecake Dip, White Chocolate Peppermint Bark and soon we’ll be sharing a Gingerbread Spice Monkey Bread! Doesn’t that sound amazing? It’s like all the flavors of the holidays in one delicious treat. But before you can get started with our delicious twist on a classic monkey bread, you must first make the Gingerbread Spice!
It’s super quick to whip up – you just need the right spices: ground cinnamon, allspice, ground ginger, nutmeg and ground cloves! Just measure them out and combine and you’re well on your way to fun and new tasty treats! Feel free to tweak the recipe to your taste…and tell us how you use your Homemade Gingerbread Spice!
- 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp allspice
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 1½ tsp nutmeg
- 1½ tsp ground cloves
- Measure and combine spices in a small bowl.
- Store in sealed spice jar.
