Hi friends! Can you believe it’s almost that time of year?! Now I know we just wrapped up Halloween and we’re not even on to Thanksgiving quite yet BUT this year Michaels wants to be sure you have PLENTY of Dream Tree Inspiration for your Christmas decor so each of the Michaels Makers are sharing amazing Christmas Tree ideas!

Last year we shared a whimsical and fun Kids-themed Christmas Tree that was all the rage! Perfect for the playroom, this tree let us show off our Christmas spirit while including the little ones.

This year we decided to go a little more traditional with our Gorgeous Gold Christmas Tree. Metallics are still in, so we mixed in a few different shades of gold – from rose to champagne – to pull together this tree that truly shines!

This look was easy to pull together with the help of Michaels Stores! We started with amazing gold and glittered glass bulbs, added in poinsettias in similar golden hues…

Then added depth and texture with wooden snowflakes, glittered pinecones, feathered picks and more! To complete the rustic and warm feel, we surrounded the tree with a burlap wrapped base and neutral gifts.

All in all I love how this tree turned out! And let me tell you, the glow at night is just intoxicating! I love how the lights reflect off of all the gorgeous gold we’ve included.

Also I have to thank my mother for all her help and support with this project. As we were decorating, I was literally days away from having baby boy #3! She was instrumental in pulling this look together and helping me with all the decorating details!
