Thank you to Intel for sponsoring today’s post on Thanksgiving and our Easy Pumpkin Bread Recipe! #IntelAIO
Hi friends! How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was fabulous! I always enjoy a good home-cooked meal and time with family. What are your holiday favorites and traditions? One of mine that my mother has instilled into me since I was little is holiday baking! My mom is the BEST baker. The cookies, candies and breads she makes around the holidays are the best. And one of my favorites from her is her EASY Pumpkin Bread recipe! Easy because I can also make it, and it turns out really good with little effort!
My mom shared this recipe when I was newly married and wanted to make some gifts for folks and I realized what a gem this recipe was! I would take loaves into work and everyone would rave. It made me feel so great to share! So today I’m going to share with you… Funny thing. These days almost everything I do is online. Recipes? Either I’ve posted them on the blog here or they’re from Pinterest and my other favorite blogs. My mom’s amazingly easy pumpkin bread recipe? Yup, that’s on our family blog (don’t go searching for it, it’s been severely neglected since I started this blog hehe). So what do we do when it’s time to pull up a recipe? We turn to Rove!
Remember Rove? She’s our NEW Intel All-in-One PC that we introduced you to just a couple weeks back! And true to her name, she goes EVERYWHERE in our home! Can you believe that? A desktop that is a HUGE touchscreen and is portable! I have to tell you I’m completely smitten. Who needs some tiny screen when you can set up Rove quickly and easily in your kitchen for all your digital needs!
So I pulled out Rove on Thanksgiving for a few recipes, one being my mom’s easy pumpkin bread recipe. I grabbed everything I needed and got to work! Oh I suppose at this point you’d like the recipe? Well I’ve had her permission to share before…so here it goes!
Easy Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups canned pumpkin
- nuts optional
Instructions
-
Mix all ingredients together.
-
Pour batter into greased loaf pans about half way full.
-
Bake at 350 for an hour.
-
Let bread cool then remove from loaf pans for serving or wrapping.
-
Makes 4-5 small loaves.
That is it! Just mix all that goodness together, throw in some pans and bake!
And voila! Pure baking genius. And really, you don’t have to tell anyone how easy it was to make. I won’t say a word! But back to Rove. Could you use a cooking assistant like mine? I know you’re already thinking of ways you can use it. I just told my husband (as I was watching Netflix on Rove) that I don’t even need a fancy TV in the kitchen because I have Rove! It really goes everywhere and does everything (I’m blogging on it right now). So this holiday season if you’re in the market for a new family computer – you should definitely take a look at the Intel All-in-One PCs! I’m a believer! Oh and while you’re at it, go bake some pumpkin bread! 😉

Hey Kimberly,
This sounds yummy. Do you think I could coconut oil as the oil? I don’t use those liquid oils. I’m going to have to try it. Thanks from the recipe.
