Easy Lunchbox Ideas

Hi friends! Can you believe that we’re almost in back to school mode? It’s been a crazy hot and fun summer around here, but I can already tell that the boys are itching to get back to their school routine. And if I’m being honest, I am a little ready too! One thing that has been great this summer having the boys at home is trying out a few new lunches that we’ll add into our lunchtime rotation this year and today we’re going to share some of those Easy Lunchbox Ideas with you in partnership with Mott’s Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks!

My boys have always been fans of Mott’s Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks so they’re a natural addition to our lunchbox routine! I love adding a little treat to their meal and I know that they look forward to it everyday. But my boys are also a little picky – do you have those? Picky eaters? So I’m going to share a few lunches that have been “wins” this summer that will be added into our routine this year.

English Muffin Pizzas. My boys call them “circle pizzas” and they ask for them almost daily. Super easy to put together – English muffins, pizza sauce (if you make your own you can also load it up with veggies), and toppings! Just pop them in the oven for a bit and refrigerate after. They’re a kid favorite even when they’re not piping hot, making them a perfect lunchbox addition. Add in some fruit, veggies and Mott’s Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks and this lunch is ready to go!

Chicken Teriyaki Pita. Now you can use any kind of lunchmeat in this pita combination, but we recently found a chicken teriyaki deli meat that is a family favorite! Since it’s so tasty, I tossed it in pitas with lettuce, tomato and a little ranch for the boys and they gobbled it down! It’s really tasty and will definitely be added to our lunch menu rotation this year. Again, I added in some fruit, veggies a little cheese wheel and Mott’s Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks and this lunch is good to go!

Taco Salad. Now I have to say this one surprised me. My youngest has proclaimed his love for salads this summer, something I would have never imagined. So naturally I fixed him my favorite go-to salad – the taco salad – and he was a fan! This lunch is so easy because we have taco night regularly at our house. So now I just make a little extra taco meat and toss it on lettuce the following day for an effortless lunch! For the lunchbox, I’ll send a container of salsa and chips and Mott’s Medleys Fruit Flavored Snacks and I’m sure this lunch will likely be a new favorite!
