Eat cake for breakfast! This Pineapple Upside Down Oatmeal is a fun way to add some fun to your morning routine!

Pineapple Upside Down Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Maple & Brown Sugar Quaker® Oats
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • Splash of imitation rum extract
  • 3-4 pineapple slices
  • 3-4 maraschino cherries
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Lay out pineapple slices and maraschino cherries on cookie sheet, sprinkle with brown sugar and put under broiler on high.
  2. Add milk and splash of imitation rum extract to your package of Maple & Brown Sugar Quaker® Oats and cook according to the directions on the package.
  3. Once pineapple slices are caramelized, add on top of cooked oatmeal and enjoy!
