Line a baking tray with wax paper. Place about 3 small drops of black food coloring into your fondant and knead until completely grey in color.
-
Roll long pieces of fondant, about ¼ of an inch thick in width and the same length as the cereal treats. You will need 12 of these – once rolled out, carefully place each one on baking sheet.
-
Roll 60 small fondant spheres, about ¼ of an inch in diameter. Shape each sphere into “claw-like” points (much like on Black Panther’s uniform). To do this, roll each one into cylinders and pinch the top. Flatten it slightly in the middle.
-
Brush your fondant shapes with silver food dust.
-
Using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar, and milk on medium speed. Gradually increase the speed to high. Your buttercream is done once it forms stiff peaks. Divide into two bowls.
-
Color one bowl of icing with the remainder of your black food coloring, the other with your violet food coloring. Place both in larger bowl and fold – you don’t want the colors to mix/blend. Instead, you’ll want to create a “marbled” look.
-
Using an offset spatula, frost each rice cereal treat. Then, carefully piece together the fondant pieces on the frosted treats. Enjoy!
