Make a fun and easy Snow-Capped ornament this year with DecoArt Snow Tex!

DecoArt 12 Days of Christmas Crafting Fun!

I just LOVE DecoArt products, you can add pizzazz to any of your projects, like this Baker’s Gift Basket I shared with you recently. Their paints and craft products are also a great way to update plain ornaments to make them pop or to add special sentiment. And today I’m sharing with you the DecoArt products and steps I used to make this adorable DIY Snow Capped Ornament!

What you’ll need:

And the steps:

  • First I drew a “snow-melt” line on the bulb with the DecoArt Snow Writer. This gives a clean line for the “snow” to end on the bulb.
  • Once the Snow Writer line was dry, I then filled in the upper portion of the bulb with DecoArt Glistening Snow-Tex. This stuff is FUN! I layered it on thick, and while the first steps are fairly quick, you’re going to want to let the Snow-Tex dry for 24 hours before handling.
  • Once the Snow-Tex was dry, I simply tied some baker’s twine to the top and hung on the tree!

    Oh my gosh those ornaments are too cute. How have I never seen that site before? Anyway, I like the Day 3: Family Photo Ornament best. Can’t wait to try it out with my kiddos.

    I love this it reminds me of the ornaments my mom used on her tree. I would love to win as I lost so much in hurricane sandy. It would help to replace some lost things. Whoever wins I wish a happy holiday season to. Bless all
