It’s been a little while since I posted my toddler boy’s Toy Story Room reveal, so if you haven’t seen it yet, go take a look HERE!
As I mentioned in that post, I made a few things for his room that I would share a tutorial for. Here is the tutorial for the Etch-A-Sketch Chalkboard.
And finally, here is a tutorial for the DIY bandanna bunting window treatment!
1. I made a pennant template from a cardboard box, folded each bandanna in half,
and traced around the template
2. I cut each pennant out, leaving the folded side in tact
3. This resulted in pennants of similar size, double-sided
4. I sewed along each of the edges, leaving the edges unfinished
5. I glued the top of each pennant to a yard of rope
6. And voila! Bandanna bunting complete!
And here’s how it looks hung in his room (I just used two brass hooks that screw into the drywall to tie the ends of the rope around):
And there you have it! My son has enjoyed his room. I still love when both of them point out the different characters in the room. All the work was certainly worth it!
