Well, it’s about time that I updated my mantel. If I’m completely honest with you, I still had the decor from the 4th of July still up. Until this weekend. Until I was finally inspired to update it when I received a beautiful print from the ladies behind Well Said. So I paired the “Life is” print with my fun Holga camera on two little boxes I picked up from Hobby Lobby. Then on the second shelf I took added a topiary upcycle and twine “S” from my Easter Mantel, and a frame that I picked up a few months ago from Goodwill. I simply added two rows of twine and used small clothespins to hang a few of my favorite Instagram pictures!
So how do you think it turned out? I really enjoy it, first that my mantel is updated, but also that it’s something that is versatile. I can see updating the pictures here and there to keep it fresh. And it all started with inspiration from a Well Said print.
