Hi friends! Well it appears we are continuing on with the St. Patrick’s theme…this time with a banner! If you haven’t checked out our St. Patrick’s Day Wreath, do that now! It turned out so fun. So a few days ago a good friend of mine, Erin, texted me a picture of her adorable St. Patty’s day themed mantel, but asked if I could make a banner that would help finish it off. But of course! So I went to work to make this adorable {and easy} St. Patrick’s Day Banner!
What you’ll need:
- Kraft paper
- Shamrock cut outs
- Lettering
- Baker’s twine
- Glue
And the steps:
- I cut out banner forms from kraft paper cardstock, with two holes at the top of each to thread twine through.
- I once again used shamrock forms I had picked up from the dollar store {but you could easily cut shamrock shapes out} and glued on top.
- Erin suggested she was thinking of “Kiss Me I’m Irish” for the banner, so I cut out the letters for the phrase, and glued each on top of the shamrocks.
And there you go – a St. Patrick’s Day Banner! Quick and easy! But I think it turned out so cute…and here it is displayed in her lovely home!
