Hi friends! Wooh – it’s been a fun-filled Back to School week, hasn’t it? Well today is no different, today we’re talking about kids crafts by Kiwi Crate! What is Kiwi Crate? If you haven’t heard of them so far, they are fun kids crafts subscription kits that are sent to your home monthly, filled to the brim with educational activities! And they are oh so imaginative and fun! We had the opportunity to test out a fun nature and explorer Kiwi Crate and the boys had so much fun making the krafts, playing and learning too! Here, let me show you!
The first project in our Kiwi Crate was a mini collection box! Oh did they hit little boys on the nail with this one! If you’re like me you have to double check your boys’ pockets before throwing them in the wash because there are likely to be “treasures” they’ve picked up along the way! The little collection box came with easy instructions, was easy to put together and with such clear, vivid pictures, didn’t even need explanation! AJ grabbed the box and was off to explore for treasures to match the pictures!
The other project that we got was a build-your-own starlight lantern. How cute is that? Again, all the supplies you needed were there, along with easy to follow instructions. AJ really got into building this one. He loved that star punch! We built the little lantern in no time and he was so excited when we turned on the little battery-operated candle and put it in the lantern. Such a cute, easy but fun activity!
After a fun time of creating and collecting, AJ didn’t want to stop! The Kiwi Crate really sparked a creative side in my little guy that I don’t always see. It wasn’t just cars and sharks (oh yes, it’s still shark week around here), but it was an afternoon filled with fun and educational kids crafts! I really enjoyed the time with my little guy, such precious moments. Oh and don’t worry, Alex wasn’t far behind. As soon as AJ was done he was asking about his lantern! So we built one for him too.
So what do you think? Could your kids, ages 3-7, benefit from convenient, educational and award winning kids crafts? I know mine can! So sign up for Kiwi Crate today! Create those special moments without putting all the pressure on you to find the ideas and supplies to make the projects. Kiwi Crate takes the tough work out of the equation and you can just sit down with your kids and enjoy learning and creating!
And right now Kiwi Crate has some great Back to School specials running! So head over today, take a look around, and sign up to unlock your kids creativity each and every month!

Sparkles and Shoes
I’m glad you liked Kiwi Crate, but we didn’t have a good experience with them. The last crate we got the paint exploded all over the place when we opened it and the stained our carpet. You’d think they would use washable paint! Then we had a horrible time with customer service trying to get a refund. Anyway we decided to switch to Green Kid Crafts and we’ve been super happy with their arts and science boxes. You should check them out : http://www.greenkidcrafts.com In my opinion they are a much better product…..
