Hi friends! It’s Stacey from Glued To My Crafts again. With Halloween creeping up fast – today I’m going to share a Halloween Bat Kids Craft that is super simple to pull together in honor of the upcoming “spook-tacular” holiday. This craft is perfect for little ones that want to get in on the fun, but it’s not so scary that you will be dealing with nightmares afterwards. It also includes all my favorite kid craft supplies {tissue paper, a paper plate and even footprints} so the budget is relatively low too.
Are you ready to learn how to pull this easy craft together? Let’s grab our supplies!
Supplies:
- Paper Plate
- Black Tissue Paper
- Glue
- Cardstock
- Black Paint
- Paint Brush
- 2 Wiggle Eyes
- Scissors
- Stapler
Directions:
- First cut your tissue paper into small squares.
- Put a good layer of glue all over the paper plate.
- Have your child place the tissue paper on top of the glue, until the paper plate is completely covered. Set aside to let it dry.
- Grab your paint, paint brush and cardstock. Make two footprints on the cardstock. Let it dry completely.
- Using your scissors, trim out the footprints.
- With the left over cardstock, cut out two triangle ears and fangs for the bat. I used some leftover paint from the footprints, to paint the ears black.
- Staple the ears and footprints to the paper plate.
- To finish it all off and give it life, glue on the eyes and fangs in the center of the bat’s body.
