Hi friends! I think I’ve said it a few times but this time of year for me is all about the TREATS! That’s why I teamed up with some great gals to bring you the Sweets & Treats Blog Hop! Stick around to the end for more great sweets and treats recipes! So I grew up with the BEST baker for a mom and come this time of year she makes the best holiday treats. Cookies, candies, fudge – you name it and we have it! So today I wanted to share with you one of her amazing treat recipes – Easy Rocky Road Candy!
Can you say YUM?! I just love Rocky Road ice cream – it’s one of my favorites, so all of the tastes of Rocky Road goodness in a sweet holiday treat is pure perfection. Chocolate, marshmallows and peanuts – yum! And it’s just so simple to put together, this Easy Rocky Road Candy will be tops on your family’s treat list for years to come!
So let’s get down to the nitty gritty – the recipe! That’s what you’re here for, right?
Easy Rocky Road Candy
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups dry roasted peanuts or pecans
- 1 10 1/2 oz large bag miniature marshmallows
Instructions

Line a 13x9 inch baking pan with wax paper.

In large heavy saucepan melt chocolate chips, margarine & condensed milk.

Remove from stove.

In large bowl, mix together nuts & marshmallows, stir in chocolate mixture and spread in the baking pan.

Allow to chill 2-3 hours until firm.

Remove from pan and paper, cut in squares and store at room temp.

Makes about 3 dozen.
