We all have stressors during the holidays and this month the Michaels Makers were asked to come up with creative and fun holiday hacks and tips to help relieve some of that stress and make holiday entertaining and prepping fun! We were given 5 common holiday hiccups to choose from and I went with what to make for teachers, the mail man, colleagues. Our FUN and easy solution? Berry Basket Gift Ideas! I honestly love to give a good gift card, especially for our hard-working teachers. I think we’ve heard over and over that gift cards are what they REALLY want. But I can never just stop there. Whenever I give a gift, I love to give something that has a little of my craftiness and personality. Not something that takes forever to slave over – but a little something fun to add to the mix. First you’re going to want to head down to Michaels Stores to get all of your crafty supplies! We picked up the berry baskets, of course – a whole stack of them! Affordable and the cutest packaging around. We also snagged some to-go coffee cups, clear plastic ornaments, washi tape, cellophane treat bags, filler and of course ribbon and decorative details! And now for a few different ideas of how you can fill those cute little baskets…

HOT COCOA BERRY BASKET GIFT. For this fun gift, we filled a clear plastic ornament with our favorite Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix and mini marshmallows! We tucked that hot cocoa goodness into these adorable to-go cups we found in the Michaels dollar bins (just one of my favorite places on the planet)! Next, tuck in some filler, the lids and even add some candy canes and you’re all set! Now if you’re wanting to up the value, tuck in a Starbucks gift card and this baby is good to go!

CRAFT STASH BERRY BASKET GIFT. Haha, I love this one – the craft stash gift! If you have a crafty teacher you’re buying for, this one is for you! Who doesn’t LOVE a new stack of fresh washi tape?! I simply filled a treat bag with a little filler and a whole stack of festive tape. We tied the bag off with a little twine and you’re all set! Now for the card – add in a Michaels Stores gift card of course! Who wouldn’t love a little crafty goodness for the holidays?

CANDY BERRY BASKET GIFT. And last but not least, gift a little of your baking or candy making this season! An update to the Christmas plate, tuck your favorite treats into a cellophane treat bag and tie off with cute, festive ribbon! There are so many gift cards you could pair with a tasty treat – a local bakery or froyo shop would be fun!
