Hi friends! It’s that time – time to start breaking out Easter decor and crafts, and today I’m sharing a fun and easy Easter Vignette that I made with Martha Stewart Crafts! Now last month, when I shared our Valentines Mantel, I mentioned that I’m part of a 12 Months of Martha program where each month I get to show you fun ways to use Martha Stewart Crafts! It’s really been so much fun – the products are a dream to use! If you follow me on Instagram or Vine – you might remember my 12 Months of Martha box this month.
So let’s get to what products I used this month and what I made!
First up is some simple, but adorable Paper Doily Bunting! I love all the doily bunting I’ve been seeing lately, so I thought, why not create it with Martha Stewart’s amazing line of paper? The colors are so fun and vibrant, I knew it would take doily bunting to a new level.
What you’ll need:
- Martha Stewart Crafts Circle Edge Paper Punch Starter Kit
- Martha Stewart Crafts Paper Pad, Brights
- Martha Stewart Merino Yarn, Buttermilk
- Glue
And the steps:
- Simply cut out 6″ paper circles with the Martha Stewart Circle Edge Paper Punch
- Fold the circle in half
- Run a line of yarn inside the half-circle and glue the sides together
- Repeat until you have the length of bunting desired
Next up we have Embellished Paper Lanterns. Now when I showed you the box of goodies on Instagram and Facebook, some of you said you’d love to see lanterns made out of the craft supplies. Now while I didn’t make the entire lantern, I did decide to embellish a couple of cute little ones I had grabbed from the dollar store!
What you’ll need:
- Martha Stewart Crafts Circle Edge Paper Punch Starter Kit
- Martha Stewart Crafts Paper Pad, Brights
- Martha Stewart Merino Yarn, Buttermilk
- Small paper lanterns
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
And the steps:
- Simply cut out 6″ paper circles with the Martha Stewart Circle Edge Paper Punch
- Trace the hole at the top of the lantern onto the circle and cut out the center
- Cut in between the scallops of the circle, about 3/4 of the way in, all the way around
- Run a line of yarn inside the half-circle and glue the sides together
- Glue the embellishement to both the top and bottom of the lantern
- Hang with yarn
Last up is this easy and adorable Bunny Embroidery Art! Now I have to admit, I’m no seamstress, but I love embroidery hoops! So this is a fun no-sew way to put them to use!
What you’ll need:
- Martha Stewart Crafts Circle Edge Paper Punch Starter Kit
- Martha Stewart Crafts Paper Pad, Brights
- Embroidery hoop
- Fabric
- Glue
And the steps:
- Place fabric into the embroidery hoop as the foundation, tighten and cut fabric around the edge in the back
- Cut out 10″, 8″ and 6″ paper circles with the Martha Stewart Circle Edge Paper Punch
- Cut out a bunny or any shape you’d like at the center
- Starting with the largest circle, glue each layer on until you end with the bunny!
And I loved the final result of each piece put together…
