Create your very own DIY Magnolia Wreath for beautiful spring decor!
What you’ll need:
- Grapevine wreath
- Magnolia stems
- Green moss
- Floral wire cutters
- Hot glue gun/hot glue
And the steps:
- I started out by adding some green moss to the grapevine wreath that will help fill the wreath out and add depth to the final product. I simply hot glued small areas and applied the moss. You don’t have to add too much glue, the rough surface of the wreath will help keep the moss in place and the flowers added on top will also help to secure.
- Once the wreath is covered with moss (I used the entire bag), I cut the magnolia stems about 2 1/2 inches from the base of the flower.
- Once all of the stems are cut, insert the stem through the grapevine wreath and bend the stem on the other end to secure. Repeat for all flowers, we used 6 total.
- Once all of your flowers are added, clip leaves off of the cut magnolia stems and glue them to the wreath underneath the magnolias to fill in the space between flowers.
And that’s it! In just an afternoon, you have a simple DIY decor project that is perfect for your spring house or to gift to that magnolia lover in your life!
