Disclosure: I received a Primula Flavor It Pitcher for purposes of this review.
It’s Summertime! Those temperatures are heating up so do you know what that means? Plenty of iced tea and flavored water…and even sangria to keep cool! Now I am a huge fan of flavored beverages. In sunny Arizona it’s always advised, especially in the Summer months, to drink a ton of water. But water can get soooo boring, right? Why not jazz it up with some tasty fruit and flavors! Or how about some tasty sangria to sip on while you’re laying out by the pool? I recently made some Blood Orange Sangria where I threw in a bunch of frozen berries. And it was gooooood as I sipped it from my cute mason jar and paper straw. But it wasn’t all sunshine and roses. Those berries got stuck in that cute paper straw. And the seeds? Not so much fun. The solution? The Primula Flavor It Pitcher!
So for last week’s Martha party, I decided to give this fabulous pitcher a try to make some more sangria! I broke out my frozen berry blend once again, but this time filled the Flavor Infuser core! I then poured my World Market Italian Sodas (the best) and some white wine through the flavor infuser and let the flavors “infuse” for a few hours. And YUM! It was just as tasty as the last sangria I made, but when served over ice, without the berry seeds and debris floating around, I actually feel like I enjoyed the beverage so much more!
Citrus Berry Sangria
Ingredients
- 1 bottle white wine
- 12 oz World Market Limoncello Italian Soda
- 12 oz World Market Orange Passionfruit Mango Italian Soda
- 3 cups frozen berries
Instructions
-
Fill the flavor infuser core of your Primula Flavor It Pitcher with berries.
-
Pour white wine and Italian sodas through the flavor infuser.
-
Allow flavors to "infuse" for a few hours.
-
Serve chilled, over ice and enjoy!
Just that easy, and so tasty! I’m so excited to try out this pitcher with this list of 25 Sangria Recipes I just rounded up or give a new flavored mojito a try. Or what about some flavored sweet tea? Yah, that’s definitely on the list. So many uses! Perfect for Summer!

This pitcher is perfect for brewing and infusing hot or cold beverages like tea! My husband is a big tea drinker and being that we live in the South tea is kind of a staple. But don’t worry–if you aren’t into drinking tea… you can infuse fresh fruit flavors into water, infuse mint or lavender into lemonade, or chilling mojitos for entertaining. I can’t wait to make a batch of my Peach Mojitos during the hot summer months and use the Primula® Flavor It™ Beverage System! I also see quite a few other mojitos in my future… and sangria. Well, you can tell. The sky is the limit!
Holly @ Woman Tribune says
