Our local Einstein Bros. Bagels® is our go to for a delicious morning bagel and shmear, there just isn’t anything like it! Honestly, we’re there at least 2-3 times a week. So when this opportunity came up I jumped at the chance. Why not pass on the love from one of our favorite shops?

One lesson my mother still stresses to this day is to be thankful. And that’s a lesson that I’m trying to pass down to my kiddos, so we made our UnMonday Monday a little project. Me and my middle man headed down to our Einstein Bros. He was excited to pick out some special bagels for his teachers and that was when I realized that this little outing was so much more than just doing something special for someone else. By taking the time to teach him to recognize his teachers, we had a special Monday morning moment! I enjoyed the time I got to spend with him and he had so much fun on our outing – it UnMonday’ed our Monday as well! Once we got our bagels back to the car, I grabbed a little gift tag that I made. It was a fun morning outing complete with time with my middle man, a great lesson on thinking of others and sharing AND in the end we got to bring a surprise to his teachers for all that they do! Our middle man is full of energy so we’re so thankful for all they do for him on a daily basis. These simply thank-you’s are a great way to recognize their effort!
