Hi friends! Easter is upon us! Will you be celebrating this weekend? I know that we’ll be with family and friends, reflecting on what the holiday means – and surely eating good food as well. In fact, we’re planning brunch. And I don’t know what it is about Easter, but when I think of sweets I always think of coconut. So when I was thinking about the perfect way to serve coffee for our Easter brunch – I knew I found the perfect pairing when I happened on International Delight’s Almond Joy creamer! Yummm… And what could make coffee just a little more special for a holiday. Whipped cream. My favorite. And you know what I did? I used that yummy creamer to make Almond Joy Whipped Cream!
Oh, if you love coconut, you’re going to drool over this one. In fact, I couldn’t keep my fingers out of the whipped cream while I was making it “just” to make sure it was tasting ok as I went along. And it’s so easy! Here’s the quick recipe…
Almond Joy Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup International Delight Almond Joy Creamer
Instructions
-
In a chilled bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream on medium-high until soft peaks form.
-
Add in powdered sugar and Almond Joy creamer and beat on medium-high until stiff peaks form.
-
Serve with your favorite coffee or dessert!
And the result, oh my!
Just seriously tasty. Now you could really serve the Almond Joy Whipped Cream with anything, but I did a taste test with a good cup of coffee, a touch of Almond Joy International Delight topped with the cream and yes. Perfection in a mug.
Whatever you’re up to this Easter I hope that you have a fabulous day with family and friends! And if you’re in the mood for a special cup of coffee, head down to the store for some International Delight creamer and whip you up some Almond Joy Whipped Cream this holiday – or really ANY special day. Enjoy!
