Hi friends! Is it warming up where you are? Spring for us in Arizona means warm weather and spending our time outside! And I don’t know about you, but popsicles are our ultimate tool for warm weather survival. Last year with our Zoku we made a TON of popsicles, and I have plans for them again this Summer. Did you catch our Coke Float Popsicles and our Orange Julius Popsicles last Summer? They were a big hit – with our family and our readers! I also had a personal favorite that I shared on Ask Anna last year but not here – our Sweet Tea Popsicles!
I big puffy heart drinking sweet tea during the Summer months. You might even call it an obsession. So as I was creating new and tasty popsicles last year, I thought, why not make some out of my favorite warm weather drink? The ingredients and steps are simple…

Sweet Tea Popsicles
Ingredients
- Favorite black tea
- Sugar
- Ice
Instructions
-
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
-
Remove from heat and pour over tea bag (I used family size).
-
Brew for 5 minutes, squeeze tea bag and discard.
-
Add 3/4 cup of sugar, stir until dissolved.
-
Add 1 cup of ice and stir until melted.
-
Pour sweet tea into popsicle molds and freeze.
And boy was I right! These Sweet Tea Popsicles are delicious!

I can’t wait until we’re into full-on popsicle making mode this year. Ok, maybe I CAN wait for 100+ degree weather. But with the 80 degree weather we already DO have we can sit back and enjoy this sweet treat outside. Are you still getting snow flurries? Well no worries, just pin this baby for May – you’ll get there! And trust me, you’ll thank me then. Have a sweet day, friends!
