The Best Disneyland Holiday Treats

A delicious list of some of The Best Disneyland Holiday Treats! From Candy Cane Mickey Mouse Beignets to the Festival of Holidays Yule Log, there's something for everyone!
Hi friends! Disneyland – the happiest place on Earth. One of my favorite places as well; growing up in Phoenix, AZ with a dad who is from L.A. and still has family in southern Cali, I grew up visiting the magical park. So not only is it TONS of fun to go as an adult, there are also so many memories that make it special as well. But nothing prepared me for the amazingness of Disneyland at Christmastime. As a family, we always take trips out closer to the summer or even a few times during Halloweentime, but recently I headed to Anaheim for a Girls Trip to Disneyland, and I have to say it, there is nothing quite like Disneyland during the holidays. It’s my favorite! And maybe top on my list of reasons why? The TREATS and SWEETS. Since I loved them so much, I’m sharing a few of what I thought were The Best Disneyland Holiday Treats!

Candy Cane Beignets.  Ok, so any Mickey beignet is a good beignet. And honestly I initially bought regular beignets with coffee at Cafe Orleans because I just didn’t think a sprinkle of peppermint was necessary. But I have to tell you, I tried the Candy Cane Beignets and they are GOOD! The peppermint is so subtle, it’s just a sweet little addition to this already beloved treat.

2. Santa Mickey Crispy Treat. You can find this holiday Mickey at a number of locations, I just happened to pick mine up at the Confectionery. And OMGEEE. It’s as tasty as it is CUTE! This was probably my favorite out of this whole list. You just can’t go wrong with a crispy rice treat covered in chocolate. And when it’s dressed up like Mickey Mouse?! Even better.

Peppermint Marshmallow Wand. A stack of marshmallows covered in caramel, dark chocolate and rolled in crushed candy cane? Sign me up. I mean it doesn’t get more “holiday” than this. And what a sweet little treat to enjoy “on the go.” Food on a stick is perfect for a place like Disneyland.

3. Olaf Marshmallow Wand. The marshmallow goodness continues with our little Frozen guy Olaf. Some of these treats are actually quite substantial, so if you’re looking for something a little smaller, this is the treat for you! And perfectly festive for winter, you’re going to want to build this snowman.

Peppermint Ice Cream. The nice thing about Disneyland in Southern CA is that it’s never too too cold to throw some frozen treats in the mix! Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor has Peppermint Ice Cream that is truly a dream. And that chocolate dipped candy cane cone? Perfection.

Jack Skellington Caramel Apple. The caramel apples at Disneyland are of course iconic. So you’re going to want to pick up at least one, and if you do – this Christmas Hat-donning Jack Skellington is a great pick! Share with friends and family, there’s a lot of apple to go around.

Starbucks Peppermint Mocha. I don’t know about you, but I am an avid coffee fan. So along with all the Mickey themed treats I had to add a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha to the list! There’s just something about sipping this amazing drink at Disneyland – it really doesn’t get any better!

Treats for Santa. Now we’re going to head over to the Festival of Holidays at California Adventure Park! If you’re planning a Disneyland vacation, you must include CA in your plans! While I love the grandeur and nostalgia of Disneyland, California Adventure is packed with fun – and great food! Right now during the Festival of Holidays there are Fourteen Festive Foods Marketplace Kiosks filled with festive eats and treats inspired by holiday cultural comfort foods, these themed locations will give you a taste of the season. And the cookies at Treats for Santa are a great place to start (or end).

Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate. While you’re at Yuletide Yummies, grab a cup of this hot cocoa with house-made cinnamon marshmallows! It really is delicious and unexpected and a perfect pairing to your cake-like treats. Shout-out to The Home T for this awesome Disneyland T! All the gals wore them and we got so many great comments.

Gingerbread Bundt Cake. Also at Yuletide Yummies (ok, just go to that kiosk already!), you MUST grab this mini Gingerbread Bundt! With orange-vanilla sauce it’s perfect to enjoy with a great view of California Screamin’ and that gorgeous Mickey Ferris Wheel. If you’re looking for the recipe, visit my friend Kelley’s blog!

So that’s it! Ok, not really…my list is a mile long. With the Festival of Holidays it really is easy to eat your way through the Disney Parks right now! So I guess I would say – book your trip NOW! Enjoy all that the Disneyland Holidays have to offer.
