Thank you to Herdez for sponsoring today’s post. These Sonoran Stacked Tacos made with Herdez® Instant Refried Beans are delicious and easy to make! A family favorite!
Hi friends! Do you have those meals that remind you of your childhood? I think they taste even better because of the memories they bring back, don’t you? These Sonoran Stacked Tacos are one of those meals. My Mom used to make them for us and the recipe was passed down from her father. My Grandad was apparently the cook in the family and she always enjoyed this meal growing up too. Now it’s so fun to be able to share with my family! And when I thought of a recipe to whip up with new Herdez® Instant Refried Beans I knew that this one would be perfect. Pin it, try it because this will quickly become a family favorite!
NEW Herdez Instant Refried Beans deliver a restaurant quality experience with superior taste and texture in just minutes! Not only are they ready in just 5 minutes but they come in a variety of flavors: Traditional, Jalapeno, Chorizo and Queso. Honestly living in the Southwest I love to eat “Frijoles con Todo” or “Beans with Everything!” Herdez Instant Refried Beans can add flavor and dimension to any meal: breakfast, lunch or dinner. Add them to your Taco Tuesday routine as a tasty side dish or in your meal like we did with our Sonoran Stacked Tacos!
These tacos are delicious and easy! First brown a pound of ground beef with preferred seasoning and prepare your Herdez Instant Refried Beans. Heat a can of enchilada sauce in a pan. Then simply soften a corn tortilla in the pan with enchilada sauce. Add a sauce covered tortilla to a plate, top with Herdez Instant Refried Beans, ground beef, lettuce, cheese and pico de gallo.
Then top all of those layers with another sauce-heated tortilla and top your taco stack with more cheese and pico de gallo. Then enjoy!
