Hi friends! Do you have football fans in your house? Well I do and we’re gearing up for the playoffs and ultimately the big game here with new recipes and ideas to make your party not only easy but fun! Today we’re sharing the most delicious Easy Salsa Cheese Ball made with our favorite Pace Picante! The recipe is so easy but the taste is out of this world! You’re going to want to give this one a try…

Pace Picante sauce at Walmart
So we headed down to our local Walmart to get everything we needed for our Easy Salsa Cheese Ball. We picked up cream cheese and some pecans – and of course headed to the Hispanic food aisle for our Pace Picante! Pace has go-to ingredients that will never fail to kick up the flavor of each and every dish. With a variety of textures and heat levels, there is a combination perfect for your gathering. Our family always opts for Medium, but it’s a good idea to grab Mild too if you’re serving salsa at your next party for those who like things a little less spicy. For this recipe Medium is perfect though, as the cream cheese really balances out the heat.

For this easy cheese ball recipe, we simply combined the Pace Picante with softened cream, a dash of garlic salt and cayenne pepper and coated it with chopped pecans. It seems so simple, but let me tell you the end result is amazing! Just let the cheese ball firm up in the refrigerator a few hours and it’s ready to serve! Or you can even make it a day or two before and keep it in the fridge for the big game! When you’re ready to serve, just put it out in your game day or party spread with some crackers. Your guests don’t have to know just how easy it was to make – it’ll be our little secret!

During the holidays we have a meat and cheese platter. I’m always looking for different cheese’ or fun things I can do with them…like a cheese ball. YUM!

    Thanks for sharing!

What a terrific idea! My sister used to just mix the Pace with cream cheese for a spread with tortillas, but making this mixture into a cheese ball with the nut covering is wonderful! And such a nice presentation, too.

Just curious. Why Salsa Cheese Ball and not Picante Cheese Ball? I don’t really know what the difference is between Salsa and Picante Sauce.
